#1 – Change Comes into Effect
A change is taking effect and bringing with it new solutions to old problems. You are ready to be more assertive. You could met someone new. You see a different aspect of yourself.

You are beginning to work on the details you created last month. The pace is still slow, so be patient. Enjoy time spent with your mate and friends. Be very careful with everything you undertake. It is important to listen and cooperate. It is a good idea to simplify your life. Analyze your encounters with others — what are they trying to tell you?

August will turn out to be a very creative month. You are drawn to take a short trip and happily entertain friends for dinner. This is a very optimistic time, maybe the birth of a child. Life favors you.

Be ready for change or conflict on the home front. It is important to be flexible and adaptable right now. This is a great time for a trip. You want to serve the public. You could meet a possible mate. Most importantly follow your curiosity and explore new ideas.

The headline for August reads: Family. Many people turn to you for help and sense your feeling of security. An old family issue comes to the surface again and has to be dealt with once and for all. You must keep your promises now. With all those demands on you don’t overbook yourself. Find a way to remain centered, a spiritual practice, meditation and study will help. Go take a class: art, sewing, cooking whatever your heart draws you to. Invite good friends for dinner.
#7 – You’re an Expert
It is time for a rest. How about going on a retreat. Meditate, pay attention to your health and the tendency to overwork. Do something for yourself, unique and special. People are drawn to you for your expertise. Be patient with the arrival of money. If you are looking for work, next month looks more promising.
#8 – Business Opportunities
Promotion, retirement or bonus are all possible this month as business opportunities are picking up. You apply yourself to complete a projects. You could find yourself working with international agencies, large corporations, and charities. You might also want to pursue cultural projects, publishing, research and teaching. The result will probably be seen next month. There are large sums of money on the way, a possible inheritance. You will have to make a major life decision. Use good judgment.
#9 – Tie Up Loose Ends
What a perfect time to travel and broaden your contacts. Let go of the unworkable and when possible finish old projects and tie up loose ends. Have faith and hope for the best and go with the flow. Enjoy your sense of accomplishment, but don’t start anything new just yet.

Just realized that while children are dogs … loyal and affectionate … teenagers are CATS.
You feed it, train it, boss it around. It puts its head on your knee and gazes at you as if you were a Rembrandt painting. It bounds indoors with enthusiasm when you call it.
Then around age 13, your adoring little puppy turns into a big old cat… When you tell it to come inside, it looks amazed, as if wondering who died and made you emperor. Instead of dogging your footsteps, it disappears.
You won’t see it again until it gets hungry… then it pauses on its sprint through the kitchen long enough to turn its nose up at whatever you’re serving.
When you reach out to ruffle its head, in that old affectionate gesture, it twists away from you, then gives you a blank stare, as if trying to remember where it has seen you before.
You, not realizing that the dog is now a cat, think something must be desperately wrong with it. It seems so antisocial, so distant, sort of depressed. It won’t go on family outings.
Since you’re the one who raised it, taught it to fetch and stay and sit on command, you assume that you did something wrong. Flooded with guilt and fear, you redouble your efforts to make your pet behave.
Only now you’re dealing with a cat, so everything that worked before now produces the opposite of the desired result. Call it, and it runs away. Tell it to sit, and it jumps on the counter. The more you go toward it, wringing your hands, the more it moves away.
Instead of continuing to act like a dog owner, you can learn to behave like a cat owner. Put a dish of food near the door, and let it come to you.
But remember that a cat needs your help and your affection too. Sit still, and it will come, seeking that warm, comforting lap it has not entirely forgotten. Be there to open the door for it.
One day your grown-up child will walk into the kitchen, give you a big kiss and say, “You’ve been on your feet all day. Let me get those dishes for you.”
Then you’ll realize your cat is a dog again.

I am working hard at moving the content from my old site to my new site and at the same time split it into several sites. Today I was drawn to move this postcard from my old inspiration section to here. The thing that struck with is that it follows nicely the latest blog post I added to the tapping site: change your thinking – change your life.It is basically the same idea, but uses a different way to achieve it. Regardless of the way you approach the subject, alway remember that you are in charge. You are the creator and the experiencer, and by focusing on what you want, rather on what you don’t want you are attracting the desired outcome. I explained it to my kids that living your life is like driving a car. You look ahead of where you want to go, not where you come from or where you are and the car will get you there.

I worked on the July forecast before I went to see my new grandson at the end of June and even published it, but somehow it never made it. So here we go again, sorry for the delay.

#1 – New Energy
The new energy which is perhaps signifying the real emphasis of the whole year is affecting you this month. Take a trip, start a new job or two, you may have more than one this year, begin your thesis, write a play, buy water colors and paper, go to a museum or concert. Above all do at least one thing this month that you have been hesitant to do. Be assertive, don’t wait and make a list.
#2 – Details Cause Distractions
Details will cause you many distractions this month. You perform work-related research and go over your accounts. You are happiest spending time with your mate and friends. Income is very slow and restricted. Be patient , helpful and diplomatic and go with the flow. Pay attention to your health.
#3 – Urge to Goof Off
This month brings a strong urge to goof off, so take a vacation, play and ignore responsibility, but put away your credit card.
