The birth date describes who we are, what we are good at and what our inborn abilities are. It also points to what we have to learn and the challenges we are facing. The birth number is only one puzzle piece in a total numerology reading. The information given here is meant as an introduction to numerology.
Due to repeated requests I have also added the double digit master numbers 11, 22 and 33. I still recommend that you get a full numerology reading to get the total meaning of these numbers in your life. I also want to point out that those who have double digits are always influenced also by the single digit meaning of number.
Figuring Out Your Birth Number
To figure out your Birth Number, add all the numbers in the birth date together like in the example until there is only one digit. The Birth Number does not prevent you from being anything you want, it will just color your choice differently.
Example:
March 20, 1950
3 + 2 + 0 + 1 + 9 + 5 + 0 = 20 = 2 + 0 = 2
2 is the Birth Number to read for the birth date in the example.

Hi,
I am born on 18 feb 1984, at the age of 18 i faced lot of problems and it continued till 24 and since then i have become very strong mentally, n i have noticed that i have this huge inclination towards anything related to military (I tried to join military but cudnt), animal welfare and one more is falling in love (but in a very rich and healthy manner). I just cannot afford to stay single….though relationships were nt able to materialize because of lack of commitment from other sides. i have got hurt in love many times but still i never stop being falling in love…..Why it happens with me….i dont do it purposely or just for fun…i instinctively fall in love n end up in hurt. Military, Animals and Love…these three words surrounds my life. I want to know if they by any means related to my birth number.

The only person who can totally figure out what it all means is you. The best way to get there is to read as many interpretations and ideas as possible and then take the ones that you resonate with.
MY BRITHDAY IS 12-12-1960 WHICH COMES OUT TO 22 ALSO MY NAME AS 12 LETTERS, THE MORE I SEARCH THE MORE IS HAVE THESE SAMES NUMBERS POPPING UP. WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEANS?
I don”t know what to tell you, as like you I have come across all the different variations of adding the numbers for your Birthdate and each one claims to be the correct one. So I usually add it in different ways just to see what other numbers are involved.
Which is the right way to calculate the numbers. 3 sites and three variations of how to add them. I get the same number 1972 03 17 = 3 but I get 30/3 with yours and I get 12/3 and 21/3.
The reason I came to the web was to research Linda Goodmans Key Number of Birth 17/8 (8&4 what is your take).
Thanks
